but I love this cologne. It’s hard to review something like this considering that it all smells different on different people, but Black Code is a nice, mellow scent that isn’t overpowering or distracting at all. I get so many compliments when I wear this out. I’d compare it to a Preferred Stock, but less potent. Black Code is a little more than I’d normally spend on something like this, but it’s worth it! While no cologne can guarantee that someone will tear off whatever clothes you’re wearing just by your scent, this one definitely inspires compliments from people!

If memory serves, noted designer Giorgio Armani was once quoted as saying that his designs were created not to be noticed but rather to be remembered. A wonderful thought, typifying his always elegant, classic style. It’s certainly true of his latest fragrance for men – Black Code. This is a subtle, sensual scent with a touch of the oriental found in notes of lemon and bergamot. It’s an ultra masculine fragrance, difficult to capture yet impossible to ignore. True to Armani’s vision, the glass bottle is artfully crafted – a cylinder of the deepest blue. It’s gift boxed in the same color with printing in gray and white. Available in 1.7 and 2.5 oz. sprays, Black code is sure to take its place by the side of Armani’s always popular Gio and Mania.

I recently purchased several colognes to see which would be best recieved for my upcoming music school interviews. Along with Code, I also purchased Drakkar Noir, Curve and Polo. Although I like Drakkar, The Code lasts longer and has a more memorable scent to it. In addition, while Code is a popular cologne, Drakkar is exponentially more popular and quite overused, I might add. I did like the Curve, but while it is attractive, it does not seem sophisticated at all – more of a teenager’s cologne for casual wear. I did not like the Polo at all. I’ve tested this cologne at work and have recieved plenty of positive comments from my co-workers to convince me that Armani Code is the right choice.

To my surprise I received a cheap copy of the fragrance CODE from Armani. I got suspiscious when I unpacked because the plastic was thicker than usual. I then opened the box, which smelled strong and weird. It had linked in the box. Looking at the bottle and its cap I realized that the bottle and the cap were all scratched. Also, the word “CODE” was not written in pure white, it was more like a beige, which is usually a sign of copied product. A bit despaired, I took the bottle to a parfum shop to compare the odor with another CODE. It was obviously different!I then wrote to the Amazon and the seller who wrote me back quickly and were very sorry about my bad luck. The seller asked me to send the bottle back and promised a full refund. He will works it out with his supplier.I know many people are happy with their purchase (that’s why I decided to give internet a try), I guessed I was just unlucky!

It’s by no means intimidating; on the contrary, it’s quite welcoming, like someone who wants to talk about the book you just both got done reading. The leather-bound edition.None of that made any sense, but then again, how exactly do you go about describing something that’s as nasally abstract as a cologne [seeks to be]…..(searching for cologne reviews)…..Oh, that’s how. Armani Code is probably the best cologne I have used in my life. Girls like it and guys want to wear it. I typically only need one spray and that gets me through the day. Be careful though, spraying two shots will overkill and may give you a headache. I use this and Burberry London as well as Lacoste Essential just to give you an Idea of my rotation. I prefer this to those as well but only on weekends will I wear the Burberry or Lacoste.

This is the best scent, and I’ve got about 10 colognes. I am on my second bottle–and Opium for Men is the only other bottle I’ve ever bought two of. It has a unique, manly scent, and I just love it. A bit like CK one but less feminine. The kind of scents I like are Paradise, Lucky No. 6, and Crave to give you an idea of my taste. I am not sure if the pheromones will attract a lover, as I am not looking for one. Nor am I confident how gay pheromones would work, but I have noticed that people are nicer to me when I wear it, and I feel more confident. I heartily recommend this product, even for its lofty price. The high price is probably because it contains some real science, or at least so one hopes.

I have bought this cologne before. It has a nice light scent to it. I do find the scent itself doesn’t last long. I still question the effectiveness of the pheromone content working it’s magic. It could be a little less expensive. Overall I would continue to wear this cologne but only when I am in social situations. I use it sparingly. Not for daily wear at this price. I do recommend it.

I was kind of excited (and a bit scared) to try this on for the first time but it seems like it wasn’t worth the $55… When I had it on, I got less reaction from people than when I was not wearing it. Now, I understand that many people stare/look at me already, without the cologne on, but I wanted to see if the “science” in this actually worked. As a man who believes more in science, I had high hopes for this product.I did not like the scent enough to make it my favorite cologne–the smell was leaning more towards a cheap perfume than a costly cologne. It doesn’t smell bad enough for me not to wear, I just don’t prefer it over other colognes. I am going to go back to my old cologne, John Varvatos, but for now, I am going to switch day-to-day from my old cologne to this cologne. My friend, who is a girl, told me that it turned her off (which is a good thing since I am aiming towards men). So, maybe the cologne does work but it just isn’t not capable with me. Therefore, I cannot say that it didn’t work because it obviously did something to my friend but I am not going to say that it did work since I received less reaction from people (reason for the three stars).I will be experimenting with this more, maybe mix it with Abercombie and Fitch’s “Wood” cologne (since it doesn’t have a great smell). But overall, it might be better just to wear your own “unique” cologne (or perfume, as I read that one of the reviewers is a girl) so that when you do find someone, they’ll be able to connect you to your sent.If you wanted to know, the scent did not change with time when I applied it to my skin, which is usually a good thing. (I know many sprays do, that’s why people who work in the cosmetic sections always spray these stuff on your hand.)

well i was all hyped up about this and it doesn’t work. i’ve been wearing it around for about 2months now. im actually a good looking person and i have good confidence but im disappointed by how little effect this product had on the people im around more often. i did notice that girls were def. a little more friendlier then usual lol a lot of flirting, but nothing with anyone else. im halfway through, im gonna finish it and maybe i’ll rewrite this review. but for now dont waste your money!

I purchased this scent for my father. My brother, who rarely wears cologne, loved it. I then purchased some for my him.Pi For Men by Givenchy is a long-lasting, subtle scent with incredible complexity. Such a nice change from many of the “in-your-face” men’s colognes. And this is not to say that Pi is not noticeable; it just is refined. Although I am not a man, I spritzed some on my wrist to test it and kept smelling it, happily, all day. It is the scent that I would want on the man that I hug a lot. Having a 15 year old son who has tried countless colognes, and a father who has tried even more, I have to say that Pi is, hands down in my opinion, the best scent for men that I have ever encountered.

While in total agreement with all the positive reviews of PI COLOGNE, and a long time user of PI COLOGNE, let me offer one word of warning to those who purchase the product online.There are many, many online sources for buying fragrances. In a few instances, we have found the lowest prices to be found at web sites that have sold us out of date merchandise. Both my wife and I have been disappointed to make a fragance purchase online, but when used, did not have long lasting impact hoped for when bought.Our solutionCall the web site directly, and ask when the product was produced, when it arrived at their warehouse, and how long it has been in their inventory. When we did this, we got FRESH PRODUCT. When PI COLOGNE is fresh, the fragrance lasts all day long with a subtle and pleasing aroma. This is it guys. You won’t smell like a urinal cake (even your best friends won’t tell you) with Pi. I am NOT a heavy user of colognes but this is great. The smell is somewhat vanilla and if you use it sparingly women really respond to it. EVERYONE I let smell or try this loves it and that opinion has been consistent for 8 yrs now.And guys less is more. Funny story, I was at a local store in the mall shopping one day, about 8 years ago. I had bought my usual Obsession. I work in and with construction workers all day, so a light spray is all I ever use. The young woman at the cologne counter asked me if I had tried Givenchy PI. I’m not trying to be some highly cultured guy here, “Tried it I can’t even say that”. She handed me a whole bag of the samples of Givenchy PI and told me to try it out since it reminded some of a lighter, more masculine Obsession. I thought nothing of it, but as soon as I tried it, I loved it. My wife at the time, I was only about 24, she hated it! Oh, it wasn’t because she really hated it, it was because she was a jealous type. Yeah, so fast forward, divorce, and I swear to you all, she stole one of my shirts and sprayed Givenchy PI all over it! Over the next few years, we went back to being at least friends and about once a week she would stop by and ask me to spray the shirt. Sure that doesn’t say much for me, she let me go, but not the smell. Needless to say, I moved on, got married to a different lady, and my ex no longer comes by to get me to spray the shirt for her. I could make this a review riddle and ask if you know why, but since I am really trying to tell how great this cologne is, I will tie up the loose strings. I married the woman from the cologne counter that gave me the Givenchy samples, and my ex, being a friend by then, came to our wedding, where my new wife, the cologne saleswoman, gave her a box of Givenchy samples so she would stop coming by to have me spray the shirt! Oh and yeah, this stuff is much better fresh. My ex says the samples don’t smell near as good as the bottle I have. Of course, the samples were old and that is how my current wife was able to give her a whole box of the samples. Moral of the story, this cologne is loved by women. To this day, I am asked at grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, what I am wearing by women and men always ask, “Hey man, come here, what kind of cologne is that Smells good” you know, all secretive like, like they don’t want any other men hearing me tell them the name of it. The other moral is current wife still will spite ex-wife, even if it just outdated Givenchy samples! One of my yearly presents from my wife during the holidays usually and one that I would recommend to all men for themselves or to women to buy for their man. In ending, fellas, if you ever thought cologne was too feminine or too anything, don’t do it with this one. Try it out, you’ll mostly likely love it and the responses you get from it.

I love the scent of this stuff. It’s very amazing. I used Gravity for a long time, but more less quit wearing it. I decided to check out a few colognes while in a store the other day and found I liked the initial smell of Pi and Adidas 1. I put some on each arm and walked around for about 15 minutes and the Pi only got better. It is nice and subtle scent that sticks around for a long time. I highly recommend this stuff. I wouldn’t tell anyone else around you though, as you’ll want to keep this stuff your secret.

I think that the scent from this cologne is wonderful. I have received nothing but positive compliments, after applying it. Some women have even come within close proximity just to inhale the aroma. I find that the supply is exhausted quickly, therefore, it may not be the most cost effective product. I am very picky about perfumes and mostly ALL of them give me headaches when/if I wear them. I was at a resturant and my waitress was wearing this perfume, she took our drink orders and I asked my husband “omg, did you smell her perfume” He thought I was crazy. He asked her what the perfume was called, we tracked it down that evening and I bought it. This is my new favorite perfume and I will contine to buy it. I liked Unforgivable Woman on my first wear. I loved it on my second. Unforgivable Woman opens bold, fruity & sweet. After the shocking first 10 minutes, it wears very calm & mellow but retains a sweetness. The essential aspect of this fragrance is that is a warm & creamy, woody vanilla for patch-lovers. Unforgivable is deceiving because its opening is so loud, and you expect a fruity floral, yet it is basically a close-wearing, soft woody. For some, it might be quite boring. For me, it’s a perfect comfortable, bedtime scent – I’ve been looking for something like this for quite a while! UW is best for me at night. The vetiver & patch just sings on my skin after a very warm, almost hot, night-time bath. The masculine edge really comes out when over-sprayed, and it wears like an updated, more modern Habanita on me. However, this scent is for a forgivable woman, whereas Habanita is for an unforgivable one. I’ve heard UW called a modern interpretation of Shalimar but I think the reference to Habanita is more fitting. The cap is rose-gold, and the bottle is opalescent rose-gold. Beautiful in its simplicity, yet clearly thoughtful & purposeful in its design. I think the bottle is fitting for this fragrance. The small 1 ounce (30ml) bottle is beautiful & in proportion. In comparison, the large 4.2 ounce (125ml) bottle seems awkward and mis-proportioned. I own both.

got this completely by chance. I was doing an exchange around Christmas and wanted to pick something fun that I wouldn’t usually get. I was between this, the regular Vera Wang Princess scent, and Calvin Klein Euphoria, but this won out. While the original Princess perfume is warm and comforting with a strong vanilla scent, I liked Rock Princess better because it was unique and unexpected. It’s unusual and hard to peg, which is something I like. Not overly floral or fruity, but sweet with an interesting richness. I don’t like very floral fragrances, and this doesn’t stand out as being in a floral category to me. It’s starts off with a pop of raspberry and peach and slowly fades off with a more woodsy musky coconut scent. It’s listed as having these notes: “Peach, Raspberry, Bergamot, Heliotrope, Rose, Jasmine, Lily, Cashmere Wood, Musk, Iris, Coconut” Despite the fact that I love the scent in itself, there is no staying power. It lasts maybe an hour or two, and the it’s not noticeable anymore(by myself or anyone around me). It usually takes me a very long time(years)to go thru a 3.4 oz bottle, but I have a feeling this will be gone in a few months because you need to spritz more often. I also hate the bottle, but this is purely personal preference. I find it very young looking and tacky. But then again, hearts and crowns don’t do it for me, no big deal. Worth checking out if you’re ok with the fact that it fades fast.

I have worn Miracle Forever by Lancome for years, and have always been very happy with it. When I found out that it will be discontinued, I decided to move on and just find another fragrance. I’ve been wanting it for a long time and finally caved after not being able to find it anywhere else because I’m thinking this could have been one of my last opportunities! I love the smell of this perfume. It’s a distinct scent without being too overwhelming or unnatural and I love the musky undertones of it. I already really like Vera Wang’s original Princess scent, but I LOVE this! Sadly I’ll probably be switching to just the regular “Princess” scent if this gets too difficult to find online. Stock up while you can!

This is my all-time favorite perfume. I love the unique way it smells and it lasts on me all day long. My roommate says this smells like candy on me, but she doesn’t think it smells as good on her. Everyone is different, but I will stock up on this so I never run out. Hope they never discontinue it!!

I got this by chance. I had a friend who had it but in the area I live, it’s very hard to find. I found it one day in a store and snatched it. I love how the smell is not like anything else you can find. People I’m around love how it smells too. I actually don’t have a problem with it fading. I think it could be do to where you live. I live in a dry area so perfume and cologne smells usually last a long time on people here. We also don’t sweat very much due to the same thing. My scent lasts all day and I hear guys saying they want to but it for their girlfriends but don’t know where to get it because it’s always out of stock.I am going to keep buying it until they don’t make it anymore.

I own and love both VW Princess and Preppy Princess. I thought it would be cool to have the whole collection, but this wasn’t doing it for me. Rock Princess is hilariously well named imo. It smells like Paris Hilton passed out under the table…like beer, but in a girly way. The lingering scent just smelled like rubbing alcohol, so…top note: alcohol. Base note: alcohol.

I love the scent of this perfume SO much. However, and I don’t know if it’s just me, but the scent does not stick around for very long. A mere minutes after I put it on I don’t smell it anymore. No one else smells it either. I’ve only gotten one compliment on it because it just doesn’t stick around. Pricey for a scent that doesn’t last.

This perfume smells great…for about 15 minutes…after that, I found that the smell quickly faded into oblivion and I needed to reapply quite frequently throughout the day. That’s my only complaint, but I seemed to have the same complaint concerning the Ed Hardy fragrances as well…smell awesome but don’t last…oh well!

I’m the type to usually avoid sales people in department stores, but one snagged me on Black Friday to hand me a test card with this fragrance on it. This frangrance is wonderful–the perfect mix of fruity and savory. I’m usually an all-fruity smells kind of girl, but this has just the right balance. I couldn’t keep my nose out of it. It just gets better over time. I’m hoping that my husband will get it for me for Christmas!!

The fragrance is light and beautiful, however I am disappointed in the length of time that it lasts. It does not last long. The packaging is beautiful as well. This perfume just went discontinued. So sad, because I love it. I used to buy it at Macy’s or Dillards for twice what this cost. I felt lucky to find it at a perfume store recently, and bought two bottles, still at twice the cost that I found it here, and much smaller bottles. I have stocked up now, so it should last me a couple of years. I guess after that, I’ll have to find a new favorite perfume.

The comment another reviewer made re the non lasting aroma, my opinion is thus: My husband noticed that from time I applied this perfume (early in the morning) and from the time I went to bed (10pm) the potency of the perfume was still there. At times, the very next day I could still smell this exotic, luxuriously rich smell on my night gown. So perhaps the aroma might seemingly appear faded to some in my experience this is not so. However, IF you (reader) are one (like myself) who likes to reapply perfumes to keep smelling fresh then why not apply some more to yourself if you think the smell has faded (rhetorical). Just be careful to not do this sorta thing with strong scents. Cause and Effect: I’m just hoping these reviews do not make C.A BY C.A so popular that the price of the perfume gets jacked up and/or goes out out of stock.
